Our 2012 Reunion pays tribute to 200 years of peace between Canada and the United States. Please mark your calendars and prepare to join cousins from both sides of the border and beyond for a weekend filled with stories, memories, documents and artifacts. We invite you to join us in beautiful, scenic Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada for the biennial reunion of the Schürch Family Association of North America.

What’s in store? Here are some highlights...
• Kick-off of the newest Association Project! Bring your old pictures and let us scan them into the Schürch Gallery – this promises to be the largest collection of Schürch faces in one place! Share your old photos for all in perpetuity.
• Winery tours, wine tasting, and wander the scenic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake
• “Ten” holes of Golf – Play 9 holes and enjoy a social time at the “10th” with new cousins!
• Historical seminars including everything you always wanted to know about Schürchs and were afraid to ask….now you can ask away!
• Learn how to preserve your old photos, documents, heirlooms and artifacts
• Hear what Schürchs are doing today
• Talk to our genealogists and family historians
• Half-day bus tours available on local history and museums
• Step back into 1812 and experience the Siege of Old Fort Erie and the Battle of Lundy’s Lane
• Meet with our Swiss Schürch cousins
• Children’s program, including hands-on genealogy for kids
• Smell the flowers and wander the grounds, the greenhouses, the teaching winery and brewery at the College
• Enjoy the warm, starry nights in peaceful Niagara
• Friday night BBQ – come, relax and visit
• Saturday night Banquet, cooked to perfection by Niagara College’s Benchmark Restaurant
